- Share Price
- The share price experienced a notable decline over the observed periods. Initially, it rose from $77.37 in March 2016 to a peak of $92.94 in February 2017. However, from 2017 onward, the share price steadily decreased, reaching $70.80 in February 2018, followed by a sharp drop to $28.74 by June 2019, and further declining slightly to $26.88 in February 2020.
- Book Value per Share (BVPS)
- The book value per share showed minor fluctuations during the same timeframe. It started at $47.47 in March 2016, remaining relatively stable through February 2017 with a small decrease to $47.13. The BVPS then increased to $54.18 in February 2018 before declining to approximately $42.3 in June 2019 and remaining nearly unchanged at $42.27 in February 2020.
- Price to Book Value Ratio (P/BV)
- The P/BV ratio mirrored the share price trend, though with somewhat greater volatility. It started at 1.63 in March 2016 and climbed to a high of 1.97 by February 2017, indicating that the market price was nearly double the book value at that point. Subsequently, the ratio declined significantly, falling to 1.31 in February 2018, then dropping below 1 to 0.68 in June 2019 and further to 0.64 by February 2020. This suggests the market priced the company below its book value in the later periods.
