Current portion of long-term debt
From 2018 to 2022, the current portion of long-term debt exhibited notable fluctuations. It increased markedly from $517 million in 2018 to $1,109 million in 2019, followed by a decline to $742 million in 2020. In 2021, this figure dropped sharply to $6 million, indicating a substantial reduction in short-term debt obligations for that year. However, it surged again to $1,072 million in 2022, returning near 2019 levels.
Long-term debt, net of current portion
The long-term debt excluding the current portion showed a general downward trend over the five-year span. Starting at $13,883 million in 2018, it slightly decreased to $12,770 million in 2019, then increased to $14,261 million in 2020.
