1 US$ in millions

Current Assets
The current assets exhibit variability over the years with an overall upward trend. From 2005 to 2006, there was a sharp increase, rising from 7,422 million US dollars to 10,377 million US dollars. Following a dip in 2007 and 2008, the figures increased markedly, reaching a peak of 30,844 million US dollars in 2015. After this peak, the current assets fluctuate but remain relatively high, with values generally above 20,000 million US dollars from 2012 onwards. There is a slight decline in the final years, although the level remains substantially higher than the starting point in 2005.
Current Liabilities
Current liabilities show a less consistent pattern with some marked fluctuations. The liabilities increased from 3,380 million US dollars in 2005 to a peak of 14,220 million US dollars in 2017. However, there are notable decreases in intervening years, such as in 2007 and 2013. After 2017, the liabilities decrease and then again rise towards 2025, ending higher than the initial value in 2005 but with significant variability throughout the period analyzed.
Current Ratio
The current ratio displays significant volatility over the years examined. Starting at 2.2 in 2005, the ratio peaks at 4.57 in 2013, indicating a notably strong liquidity position at that time. Between 2007 and 2012, the ratio generally declines, reaching lows around 1.62 to 1.75. Post-2013, the current ratio fluctuates with values typically ranging from 1.85 to 2.65, indicating moderate liquidity. The ratio values suggest that the company's ability to cover short-term liabilities with short-term assets has varied considerably, with some years showing strong liquidity and others demonstrating weaker coverage.
