1 US$ in millions

Total Debt
The total debt remained relatively stable and low from 2005 through 2010, fluctuating slightly between 202 million and 415 million US dollars. Beginning in 2011, there was a sharp increase, with debt rising significantly to approximately 1,947 million US dollars and then holding steady around this level through 2014. A notable surge occurred in 2015, with total debt increasing sharply to 4,542 million US dollars, followed by fluctuations that peaked gradually, reaching 6,555 million US dollars by 2025. The data indicates a marked increase in leverage over the period from 2011 onward.
Stockholders' Equity
Stockholders' equity experienced some volatility during the period from 2005 to 2018, with values generally ranging between approximately 6,600 million and 9,300 million US dollars. A significant upward trend can be observed starting in 2019, with equity rising steadily and robustly year-over-year, reaching over 20,000 million US dollars by 2025. This growth points to an overall strengthening of the equity base in the latter years, surpassing previous fluctuations and indicating substantial net asset accumulation.
Debt to Equity Ratio
The debt to equity ratio was very low and stable through 2010, ranging from 0.03 to 0.06, reflecting a conservative capital structure with minimal reliance on debt. From 2011, the ratio increased sharply, peaking at 0.78 in 2018, suggesting a higher dependence on debt financing relative to equity during this period. However, from 2019 onwards, the ratio shows a consistent downward trend, decreasing to approximately 0.32 by 2025. This decline is driven by the rise in equity outpacing increases in debt, indicating a gradual reduction in financial leverage and a move towards a more balanced capital structure.
