The current ratio exhibited a fluctuating pattern over the period from 2005 to 2025. Initially, the ratio decreased from 1.52 in 2005 to 1.33 in 2006, followed by a slight increase to 1.39 in 2007. A subsequent decline was observed through 2008 and 2009, reaching 1.30 and 1.33 respectively. The ratio remained relatively stable at 1.33 in 2010 before beginning a consistent downward trend.

Overall Trend
From 2011 to 2016, the current ratio generally decreased, falling from 1.17 to a low of 1.04 in 2016. This indicates a diminishing ability to cover short-term liabilities with short-term assets during this period. A slight recovery occurred in 2017 and 2018, with the ratio increasing to 1.10. However, this improvement was short-lived, as the ratio decreased again in 2019 and 2020, reaching 1.05.

A notable dip to 0.94 was recorded in 2022, representing the lowest point in the observed period. This suggests a potential liquidity concern in that year. The ratio experienced a modest rebound in 2023 and 2024, reaching 1.05 and 1.06 respectively. The final year observed, 2025, showed a slight decrease to 1.05.

Long-Term Perspective
Over the entire 20-year period, the current ratio demonstrated a general tendency towards lower values. While fluctuations occurred, the ratio consistently remained above 1.00, indicating that short-term assets generally exceeded short-term liabilities. However, the trend suggests a gradual erosion of the company’s short-term liquidity position.

The period between 2011 and 2016 shows a clear weakening of the current ratio, while the period from 2017 to 2019 shows a stabilization, followed by a renewed decline in 2020 and a significant drop in 2022. The subsequent recovery in 2023 and 2024 was limited, and the ratio ended the period at a similar level to that observed in the mid-2010s.
