- Net Income (Loss) Attributable to Diamondback Energy, Inc.
- The net income demonstrated significant volatility throughout the period analyzed. Starting with a loss of $37 million in 2012, the company recovered to a positive income of $55 million in 2013 and further increased to $194 million in 2014. However, a severe downturn occurred in 2015 and 2016, with losses of $551 million and $165 million respectively. The financial performance improved markedly beginning in 2017, peaking at $846 million in 2018, followed by a decrease to $240 million in 2019. Another major loss was recorded in 2020, reaching $4.517 billion, which was then followed by a significant rebound to a net income of $2.182 billion in 2021.
