Other Additional Capital

This element represents additional paid-in capital other than attributable to capital contributed by shareholders in excess of the par or stated value of the common or preferred stock issued by an entity. Certain entities report two components of additional paid-in capital consisting of (i) capital in excess of par or stated value and (ii) other additional capital. This member should only be used if the entity distinguishes between additional paid-in-capital and other additional capital in its financial statements.
